We're looking for a General Manager of Hospitality who can lead with vision, deliver with precision, and create unforgettable experiences across our accommodation, events, and activities.

 As GM of Hospitality, you’ll be the strategic and operational heartbeat behind everything our guests see and feel. From luxury accommodation and bespoke events to curated farm experiences, you’ll ensure every interaction reflects the Estates values of excellence, innovation, and regenerative living.

Key Duties & Responsibilities includes but are not limited to:

  • Lead & Inspire: Provides clear direction, motivates teams, and cultivates a culture of excellence. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
  • Deliver Guest Excellence: Craft seamless, world-class guest journeys that are memorable and meaningful. Drive the operations team's contribution to revenue through enhanced guest experiences that encourage additional services and activities. Lead the site inspection process by and collaborating with sales, marketing and the guest experience team to deliver a tailor-made site inspection aligned to the positioning of the farm and the needs of the customer.
  • Drive Growth: Align operations with sales, marketing, and revenue objectives.
  • Operational Mastery: Improve systems and processes using data, tech, and insight driven leadership.
  • Financial Oversight: Own the budget, optimise revenue, and make smart, sustainable decisions.
  • Cultural Champion: Infuse The Estates unique values and purpose into everything you and your team do.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in hospitality, with a strong background in managing accommodation, events, and activities.
  • Proven ability and experience in customer experience management, with a track record of improving guest satisfaction and loyalty as well as operations, and financial oversight.
  • A passion for people, place, sustainability, and purpose-driven hospitality.
  • A tertiary degree (hospitality/business/operations) is advantageous.
  • Experience in business process improvement.
