Stellenrust Brand Ambassador Gauteng

Stellenrust Wine Estate is seeking a dynamic, personable, and results-driven Brand Ambassador to represent our winery and strengthen our presence in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the winery’s portfolio, increasing brand awareness, and building lasting relationships with clients, retailers, hospitality partners, and consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the winery with professionalism and enthusiasm at tastings, events, trade shows, and hospitality experiences.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with restaurants, hotels, wine merchants, distributors, and tourism partners.
• Organise and conduct wine tastings, private client events, and brand activations.
• Assist in executing marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives in line with the winery’s brand strategy.
• Serve as the face and voice of the brand across multiple platforms, including social media and public engagements.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to provide strategic feedback.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to support promotional campaigns, content creation, and customer engagement strategies.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource on all winery products, history, and production practices, providing authentic storytelling and product education.
• Report on customer feedback, event performance, and market insights regularly. 

Requirements:

• Proven experience in hospitality, sales, marketing, or public relations; experience in the wine industry is highly advantageous, but not a must.
• Passion for wine, with sound knowledge of South African wine regions, varietals, and winemaking practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; any additional language will be deemed an advantage..
• Self-motivated, well-organised, and confident working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to travel locally and occasionally internationally; flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal wine education (e.g., WSET certification or Cape Wine Academy) is beneficial, but not a must.
• Social media savvy with a creative flair for content creation and engagement
