An excellent career opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual exists in the Human Resources Department for an Organisational Development Practitioner, reporting to the Group HR Manager.

This role will support and drive the company’s employee value proposition through various Organisational Development initiatives. This position is based in Worcester and occasional travel will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate the current organisational culture by collecting data, identifying opportunities and challenges.
  • Roll-out current OD interventions and develop the necessary OD interventions to address identified opportunities and/or challenges.
  • Analyse skills requirements within the group and develop a yearly skills development plan to ensure the organisation has the necessary skills to achieve its current and future organisational objectives.
  • Evaluate the yearly impact of training initiatives in the group.
  • Develop in-house SOPs/assessments that can be used to evaluate training readiness, promotion readiness, knowledge and skill assessments against job/ performance requirements.
  • Implement the company’s Corporate Social Investment strategy by identifying appropriate beneficiaries and coordinating the implementation of projects whilst ensuring that the projects add value to beneficiaries and communities.
  • Implement the Employee Child Development program
  • Implement and maintain the Bursary program
  • Evaluate the performance management system annually and implement improvements where needed and train new managers on the performance management process as well as the contents of performance management discussions.
  • Implement and maintain the Employee Trust at each Plant in the Group aligned with the mission and vision of the trust and ensure that meetings, feedback sessions and action plans are executed in accordance with the rules of the Trust.
  • Lead, control and manage the performance of subordinates.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant B-degree in industrial psychology or human resources management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an OD Generalist / HR Generalist
  • 3 years’ relevant experience in training and development
  • Above average working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Valid driver’s license
