Villiera Wines, conveniently located just off the N1 near Stellenbosch, is offering an exciting Harvest Internship for the 2026 vintage. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience with Cap Classique and still wine production. Join us during the harvest season and immerse yourself in the winemaking process with a well-established team of young winemakers.
What we're looking for:
We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate individuals eager to learn and get involved in every aspect of harvest. Whether you are just starting out or looking to deepen your knowledge of winemaking, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be willing to work long hours during the harvest season
- Display a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Work well as part of a team with strong communication skills
- Demonstrate initiative and responsibility in the cellar
- Pay attention to detail
- Previous harvest or cellar experience is a plus but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving grapes and assisting on the crush pad
- Monitoring fermentation and assisting with cellar operations (pump overs, punch downs, additions)
- Handling juice/wine transfers and barrel work
- Conducting basic lab work and wine analysis
- Maintaining impeccable cellar hygiene
