Support your cellar master where it matters most.

Is your winemaker or cellar master spread too thin, torn between market demands and daily compliance paperwork?

This coaching program helps wine estates build internal compliance capacity, so frontline leaders (like cellar supervisors or QC officers) can confidently manage food safety, quality, and traceability systems—freeing up time for your winemaking team to focus on product and market.

Many wine estates rely on a capable individual - often a supervisor or junior QA to manage control and inspection tasks. But this role can quickly become overwhelming without proper training or structure.

This coaching program is designed to support and develop that person. We help you build consistent compliance from within, so that cellar masters and winemakers can focus on product and market, not paperwork and audits.

What this support includes

Hands-on coaching and custom guidance in areas like:

  • Food Safety, Quality, GMP & PRP implementation
  • Maintenance of production records, batch coding, traceability & retention samples
  • Monitoring bottling & labelling, cellar hygiene, and wine condition checks (pH, temp, etc.)
  • Oversight of pest control, chemical usage & cleaning schedules
  • Documentation & compliance systems for Wine Compliance standards (e.g. FSSC/BRC), WIETA, Organic, HACCP
  • Raising and resolving non-conformances.
  • Leadership skills to supervise and assist staff to adhere to company food safety standards & any other compliance requirements.

Designed for:

  • Estates needing hands-on support to meet BRC, FSSC, EU or buyer-specific compliance
  • Wine estates wanting to strengthen internal capacity.
  • Supervisors, QA officers, or team leaders being asked to manage documentation, inspections, or food safety.
  • Cellar assistants or line supervisors with deep product knowledge.
  • Team leaders who are ready for more responsibility.
  • Winemaking teams who need to spend more time with customers, less on compliance files.
  • This is not a generic course—it’s an embedded, on-site program that helps your people grow inside your business.

Who am I?

I’ve built my career in wine quality assurance, with over 25 years of hands-on experience across the wine industry — from winemaking and bottling to food safety systems and compliance audits.

What sets me apart is the combination of deep technical knowledge and quality systems expertise - a rare blend that allows me to bridge the gap between cellar floor realities and audit-ready systems.

But beyond the technical, I’m known for how I work with people: I meet teams where they are, and guide them toward real confidence and competence. My coaching style is clear, respectful, and empowering - because the best compliance systems are built from the inside out.

Here’s how it works:

  • This coaching program is designed to work at your pace, with flexible 3- or 6-month options. The 6-month track is ideal for busy estates needing more breathing room between sessions.
  • I visit every two weeks for 2–4 hours.
  • Remote support (optional): WhatsApp or email
  • Your team member (or up to three participants total) receives hands-on guidance tailored to your specific wine processes and compliance needs.
  • After each session, they’re given a focused assignment or activity to complete on-site.
  • Over time, they build practical skills in compliance documentation, quality oversight, and system thinking—all in your own context.

Let’s build your team’s compliance confidence — from the inside out.
Coaching slots are limited and tailored to your estate’s real needs.
