Our client – a bold, fast-growing premium beverage brand with a global footprint – is on the hunt for a brand manager who’s equal parts strategic thinker, sales driver, and cultural trend spotter.
This is not your average 9-to-5. you’ll be the connector between big brand energy and market hustle – driving sales, shaping brand love, and making waves in the luxury spirit space across south africa. you'll also partner closely with our on-the-ground distributor team to spark growth, light up trade, and boost visibility in all the right places.
This position will ideally suit a newly qualified brand specialist with a keen interest in the luxury spirit sector of south africa. the position is office based - cape town cbd. you will be required to travel nationally and interact with the distribution teams to ensure successful execution, collaboration & brand development.
Duties (but not limited to):
- deliver volume growth via key account strategy and distributor collaboration in the on consumption, cocktail lounge, speciality bars & exclusive nightclub sector.
- execute brand plans and localise global campaigns specific to the individual product offerings
- develop & execute trade marketing, activations, and roi-led promotions
- communicate and motivate distributor teams on brand positioning & goals
- provide market insights and performance reporting to leadership
- collaborate on launching the national e-commerce / dtc platform
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in fmcg or beverage-alcohol brand/sales development
- appropriate qualification
- strong grasp of sa's on-trade and distributor environments
- digitally fluent, analytical, and entrepreneurial
- willing to travel
