Robertson Winery (Pty) Ltd., has an exciting opportunity available for a Brand Ambassador to represent Robertson Winery in the KZN main market, with a key focus on Durban.
This role involves growing brand presence by driving availability, visibility, and sales through On-Consumption, Wholesale, and Re-Distributor channels. This includes building strong trade relationships, activating promotions, and ensuring brand execution in the market.
The position will report to the Trade Marketing Manager based in KZN, and will be responsible for: *Being the link between the customer, the wholesale outlet, the Sales Rep and the Trade Marketing Manager *In-trade relationship management with top selling customers and representatives *Influencing sales of products out of Wholesalers and Re-Distributors within a certain area *Driving listings of products with customers purchasing from Wholesalers and Re-Distributors *Conducting promotions and tastings at customers and events to drive sales *Managing promoters, including related administration *Being the expert in the area in terms of Robertson Wine and advising on opposition activities *Managing and implementing allocated point-of-sale material to drive ROI *Advising on stock levels & managing product pricing either at customer or Wholesaler and Re-Distributor outlets *all other ad hoc tasks related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
- Minimum 3-5 years’ liquor sales experience in the KZN main market;
- Good knowledge of and experience with the customers in the specific area (Durban);
- Basic wine knowledge will be advantageous;
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport;
- Willingness to work after-hours and weekends;
- Clear criminal record.
