We’re looking for a gracious and professional Host to join our team at JAN Franschhoek. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Greet and welcome guests with elegance and professionalism
- To ensure the table is set with precision, consistency, and elegance
- Serve wine and drinks
- Present and explain food courses to guests, highlighting key ingredients and culinary stories
- Deliver consistently high standards of guest service and presentation
- Uphold brand values and attention to detail in every guest interaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent wine and food knowledge
- A natural sense of warmth, poise, and discretion
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-pressure environment
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends
- Own transport
