We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and deliver an exceptional dining experience at one of our estate restaurants.

Job purpose
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless day-to-day operations of the restaurant and Homestead when needed, ensuring outstanding service, guest satisfaction, and team performance. You'll work closely with our Executive Chef and F&B Manager to create memorable, curated guest experiences that reflect our terroir and ethos. To direct operations within the estate and Hotels food and beverage outlets to maximize performance and profitability by creating a positive and productive work environment, ensuring superior guest service in compliance with quality, hygiene and operational standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualities:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role within Food and Beverage operations in a supervisory role, with a minimum of 3 years in management level.
- A Degree / Diploma in hospitality management is preferable.
- WSET/CWA certification is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a hands-on management approach.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to adapt to shifting dynamics.
- Creative and innovative thinker, willing and able to inspire teams with a desire to exceed guest expectations at all times.
- Strong wine knowledge and a passion for local food culture
- Proactive leadership style with a focus on guest experience
- Exposure and understanding of restaurant administration and financials.
- Knowledge of POS systems and reservation platforms (e.g., GAAP, Dine plan)
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and evenings
- A vibrant and responsible approach with a cheerful and service orientated outlook.
