Our Client, a five-star hotel, strategically situated in the heart of Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Manager to join their dedicated team.
 
Role Profile:
 
This is a full-time on-site role for a Group Assistant Finance Manager. The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for assisting in the management of financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets, handling audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Other day-to-day tasks may include financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting, as well as supporting senior finance management in strategic financial planning.
 
Oversee bookkeeper in ensuring that tasks and deadlines are met and that transactions are always recorded accurately.
 
Qualification / Experience / Skill:
 
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and financial planning
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools (Xero/Dext/Payspace Advantage)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
• Work Experience : 5-10 years in related field
 
Remuneration Detail:
R30 000 – R33 000 (DOE), plus company benefits
