Qualifications and experience needed:

  • Degree in Sales and marketing or similar qualification.
  • 8 – 10 years’ experience in similar position
  • Experience in international and local sales (more than one market will be beneficial)
  • Experience in building international brands
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the Wine Industry will be beneficial
  • Proven track record of sales achievements
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

Duties will include: (not limited to)

  • Develop and implement a global sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
  • Manage and grow sales across all key international markets
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current distributors, importers and agents
  • Set and monitor export and local sales targets and budgets per market
  • Conduct in market visits, attend trade shows and represent the winery at key global and local wine events
  • Ensure commercial team members are clear on their roles and objectives as well as conduct all activities and responsibilities in a professional manner
