Qualifications and experience needed:
- Degree in Sales and marketing or similar qualification.
- 8 – 10 years’ experience in similar position
- Experience in international and local sales (more than one market will be beneficial)
- Experience in building international brands
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience in the Wine Industry will be beneficial
- Proven track record of sales achievements
- Strong financial acumen
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Duties will include: (not limited to)
- Develop and implement a global sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
- Manage and grow sales across all key international markets
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with current distributors, importers and agents
- Set and monitor export and local sales targets and budgets per market
- Conduct in market visits, attend trade shows and represent the winery at key global and local wine events
- Ensure commercial team members are clear on their roles and objectives as well as conduct all activities and responsibilities in a professional manner
