Assistant Hospitality Manager

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant Hospitality Manager to oversee all front-of-house operations at our wine estate. From cellar door tastings to private events, your role will be key in creating exceptional, personalized guest experiences that showcase our wine, food, and setting at their best.

Your Role:

• Oversee daily guest operations, including wine tastings and events.

• Manage and train front-of-house staff to deliver warm, knowledgeable service.

• Coordinate bookings, private functions, and group experiences.

• Work closely with the winemaking and marketing teams to align guest experience with brand storytelling.

• Handle guest feedback and maintain high satisfaction standards.

• Manage stock levels for the tasting room and ensure a smooth POS operation.

• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards across all guest areas.

About You:

• 2–5 years’ experience in hospitality or guest services management (wine/tourism a plus).

• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.

• Passionate about wine, food, and customer experience.

• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to work weekends and peak seasonal periods.

• Knowledge of wine service, WSET certification, or similar is an advantage.

• Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
