This is an opportunity to build a wine programme from the ground up, working closely with our Executive Chef to create unforgettable food and wine pairings in a venue where hospitality, storytelling, and guest experience come first.
? What We’re Looking For:
- A certified or experienced Sommelier with a deep understanding of local and international wines
- Someone who can engage guests with warmth, confidence, and insight
- Strong knowledge of wine service, storage, decanting, and glassware standards
- Ability to build and manage a thoughtful, profitable wine list
- Passionate about staff training, pairing menus, and wine education
- Familiarity with boutique wineries, organic/biodynamic trends, and premium labels a plus
? What You’ll Be Doing:
- Curating and managing the entire wine programme
- Conducting table-side recommendations and pairings with finesse
- Collaborating with the kitchen on wine pairings for tastings and events
- Hosting wine dinners, tastings, and VIP experiences
- Training front-of-house staff to improve overall wine knowledge and upselling
- Maintaining wine stock, cellar organisation, and supplier relationships
