South Coast 
Lomond Wines is a medium sized winery located in the Cape Agulhas region at the southernmost tip of South Africa, mainly specializing in Sauvignon blanc and Syrah. We are looking for capable and experienced interns to join our team for the 2026 Harvest season.
Requirements:
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work long hours during harvest
- Experience in a winery is essential
- Applicants must be fluent in English
- Tertiary education in Viticulture and Oenology or similar will get preference
The period you would be working with us would be from the start of February to the end of April (3 months). Accommodation will be provided for the duration of your stay with us.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Winemaker
- Ripeness monitoring of grapes in the vineyards
- Fermentation monitoring in cellar
- General intake and processing of grapes
- Barrel work
- General cellar activities
