We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic Events & Sales Manager at a high-end Hospitality Portfolio, in the heart of Rosebank’s thriving foodie district.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
• Cold call and market our client’s Rosebank spaces to corporates and event planners and tour operators
• Use the current data base and to market our Rosebank spaces to corporates and event planners and tour operators
• Small groups of 2 to 200
• Work with the marketing team and food teams to plan all aspects of the event from décor to food
• Curate events to suit the client
• Manage deposits and follow up on payments
• Raise invoices for events
• Meet and greet the events
• Host breakfast or lunches to market and pr to company decision’s to sell our spaces
• Meet corporates and do site visits
• Working hours 8-4 Weekdays
• Some evenings at own discretion to meet groups
• Some weekends to meet big booking an insure operational excellence
• Manage email bookings from stores if need be
• Work with marketing team
• Meet sales targets set for events
 
Qualification and Experience:
 
• Bachelor degree and/or diploma in Events / Marketing Management, or other related field
• Strong Financial and Business acumen
• Strong F&B background
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum of 3-5 Years of experience in a High-end Hospitality event / sales leadership role
• Proficient in digital communication tools
• Effective in creating and fostering an environment of collaboration
• High levels of physical endurance
