Stellenzicht Wines, situated on the Helderberg Mountain, is looking for 3 Harvest inters to join our small team for the upcoming 2026 Harvest.
Stellenzicht Wines specializes in Chardonnay, Cinsault, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, but the inters will also gain experience with other white and red wine cultivars.
The interns will be part of, and gain hands-on experience in all winemaking aspects—from grape to bottle.
Key responsibility will include, but are not limited to
- Sampling of grapes
- Receiving grapes
- Additions
- Pump overs
- Racking
- Barrel work
- Ensuring cellar hygiene is maintained at the highest level
Requirements:
- Viticulture & Oenology degree/diploma;
- Previous cellar experiences will count in the applicants favor.
- Driver’s license
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail
In return, Stellenzicht Wines offers industry related compensation, accommodation of the farm and Harvest Lunches.
The internship will run from January 5, 2026, through the end of May 2026, with the possibility of extension until the end of December for the right candidate.
