Nature’s Own Beverages is a well-recognised manufacturer and supplier of quality liqueurs and other liquor products to national retailers, contract-, private label-, and export clients. Nature’s Own Beverages, with their factory based in Bonnievale (Western Cape), has a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team.
This is a hybrid role that requires the incumbent to visit the factory in Bonnievale at least once a week.
The incumbent will be responsible for strategic planning and management, as well as hands-on coordination of sales and marketing activities to ensure a strong brand presence, customer engagement, and sales performance across key channels.
Duties include: *Providing strategic sales leadership pertaining to budgets, strategies, campaigns, merchandising, and brand and market development locally and internationally *Setting targets and managing sales team performance and key account relationships *Coordinating with external partners, agents, and distributors both locally and abroad *Driving brand awareness and consumer engagement through trade marketing, promotions, and campaigns *Ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, and customer experience across all platforms *Overseeing the company’s marketing platforms including website, social media, email campaigns, and online store *Determining product strategy and positioning in collaboration with the production team *Monitoring & reporting on sales performance *All other tasks related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the wine/liquor/FMCG industry; a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;
- Proven ability to manage sales, key accounts, and contribute to marketing campaigns;
- Strong knowledge of local and international liquor markets and consumer trends;
- Knowledge of social media and consumer engagement platforms;
- Willingness to travel.
