Haute Cabriere has two fixed term positions available for the upcoming season.

Haute Cabrière has two  exciting opportunities for ambitious individuals to join our hospitality team as  Hostesses. This candidates will be the first point of contact with guests.  The position entails shift work. Basic monthly salary of R10000  

Required Skills and Qualifications                      

• Well-groomed and presentable
• Positive, energetic and enthusiastic
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills with focus on high level of guest satisfaction
• Reliable, dependable, accountable, responsible and punctual
• Thorough and able to multitask, organize and improvise
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment
• Assist other employees within the department

Key Responsibilities 

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and navigate them to their designated seating promptly
• Maintain control of seating based on party size and table availability
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally
• Keep guests informed and comfortable during busy periods
• Provide accurate information about the restaurant, menu and tasting room offerings
• Share daily specials and accommodate enquiries with enthusiasm
• Keep the front of house clean, organised and inviting
• Address guest needs, dietary requirements or special seating requests proactively
• Address guest concerns or complaints calmly and promptly involving management as needed
• Assist Front of House staff as and when required and instructed by Manager on duty
