A well-established HERB PACKAGING PLANT, located on the R45 is in need of a skilled, responsible person to assist in co-ordinating the day-to day activities.
Main duties: Engaged with commercial customers, ensure continues supply, maintain and execute successful sales, supervise staff and plant operations.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Food safety audits, Customer satisfaction, Quality control, Achieve sales goals, Assist in creating a divisional budget and operate within approved amounts, Stock management, Collaborate with the production team, Represent the company to visitors, customers and guests, Attend tradeshows,
Requirements:
- HCCAP / GlobalGap knowledge and experience
- Relevant post school qualification with sales / management experience
- Staff supervisory or management position, with a proven ability to manage, develop and mentor staff.
- Experience with planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of ERP system
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to effectively present information in formal and informal settings to peers, customers and industry leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strict attention to detail and prioritization.
- Able to operate in a multicultural environment and ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
- Must demonstrate professional and ethical business practices, adherence to company values, and a commitment to personal and professional development.
