An exciting opportunity is available for a sales assistant at a family-owned wine warm in the Durbanville Wine Valley as we prepare for the upcoming season.
The ideal candidate would be required to carry out the following duties:
1. Greet all guests who visit the farm.
2. Process all food and drink orders via the POS.
3. Answer questions regarding products or services.
4. Ensure that all sales items are re-stocked regularly.
5. Manage their own workspace and ensure that the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness are adhered to.
6. Manage their own float and ensure that their cash-up balances at the end of each business day.
The ideal candidate should also:
1. Reside within Durbanville or the surrounding area.
2. Have reliable means of transportation.
3. Strong verbal communication skills (English & Afrikaans).
4. Ability to work most weekends and public holidays.
5. Ability to work under pressure and independently.
6. Wine knowledge would be advantageous but not necessary.
