We are seeking to appoint an excellent candidate as our Temporary Sous Chef at our Wine Estate (Paarl).

The successful candidate would have the following attributes and skills:

  • Creative and hands-on approach to food preparation.
  • Strong culinary and operations skill set
  • Passionate about cooking and cares about a curated guest experience.
  • Experience in a high-end, bistro-style environment with the necessary qualification will be advantageous.
  • Manage a small team effectively with overall kitchen operations.  
  • Very good interpersonal skills

Duration: 6 months

Salary: Market related

Start date: 1 September 2025
