Lynx Collection is seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the restaurant operations with a strong eye for guest experience, service quality, and team performance, while upholding the culinary vision of the Head Chef and the hospitality standards of the Lynx Collection.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Manage reservations, guest seating, and service flow in coordination with kitchen staff
- Monitor and maintain service standards, cleanliness, and presentation across all areas
- Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage restaurant stock, including ordering and controlling beverages and consumables
- Supervise cash-up procedures and maintain accurate financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize operations, enhance service, and maximize revenue
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach
- Commitment to quality, service excellence, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management (advantageous)
- Experience in luxury hospitality or fine dining
- Knowledge of current health and safety standards
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
- Fluent in English; German would be a plus
- Knows the lightsspeed programme
