Housekeeper - Franschhoek

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dynamic team at Lynx Collection (www.lynx-collection.com).

The ideal candidate will ensure that our guest house is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Inherent Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a guest house, hotel, or luxury hospitality environment
• Certificate in First Aid/Fire Fighting/Health and Safety (advantageous)
• Fluent in English

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be professional, trustworthy, and a team player
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently
• Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for guests

Main Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards
• Change linens, make beds, restock amenities, and ensure rooms are guest-ready
• Maintain laundry services for linens, towels, and guest items as needed
• Ensure all areas are tidy, hygienic, and welcoming at all times
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly
• Follow and enforce all Health and Safety processes and procedures
• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all guests
• Assist with additional guest needs where required to ensure excellent guest experience
