Marklew Family Wines, a family-owned boutique winery in the Simonsberg Stellenbosch area, is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team for the 2026 harvest season.
This is a seasonal position running from late January to early April 2026 (depending on the harvest), and requires full commitment for the duration.
What the role involves:
- Assisting with grape harvesting activities.
- Helping in the cellar with daily setups, cleaning of equipment, pressing, and receiving grapes.
- Supporting vineyard work on days when the cellar is not operating (including assisting with picking for external clients).
- Being directly involved in many aspects of small-scale winemaking — a great hands-on learning opportunity.
What we’re looking for:
- No formal qualifications required – just a strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
- Someone dependable and ready to take initiative.
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport to and from the winery.
- Ability to commit for the entire harvest period.
