Part-Time Eco Guide – Fynbos & Game Drive Experience

A private nature reserve in Somerset West (East Ward, City of Cape Town) is seeking a qualified Eco Guide for weekend relief and seasonal cover, with the potential for a permanent role based on performance.

Requirements:

• South African citizen or valid work permit

• Clean criminal record / police clearance

• Valid driver’s license and Professional Driver’s Permit

• Guiding qualification with relevant experience

• Basic knowledge of fynbos biome and ecology 

• Excellent spoken English (Afrikaans, German, or Dutch an advantage)

• Neat and professional presentation

• Own transport to/from Sir Lowry’s Pass area

Role:

• Lead guided nature walks and game drives

• Educate visitors about the local flora, fauna, and conservation practices

• Provide a safe and memorable guest experience
