Situated in the magnificent Franschhoek Valley, this 5-Star Heritage Wine Estate is known as a landmark in the Winelands and provides a unique destination presenting many elements including award winning wines, exceptional culinary experiences, luxurious accommodation, and art gallery.
 
We have an opportunity for an Assistant Bookkeeper to join their team.
 
The role supports the business's financial operations by performing day-to-day tasks like data entry, reconciling accounts, managing invoices, and preparing financial reports under the guidance of a the accountant.
 
Key responsibilities include maintaining financial records, processing payroll, tracking expenses, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
 
Position Requirements:
• Recognised Accounting qualification
• Pride in excellent standards of service; strong interpersonal skills.
• Technologically skilled with competent working knowledge of MS Office (Excel in particular), and general accounting software
• Highly organised and detail-oriented with strong financial acumen and excellent time management skills.
• Results driven with strong communication skills; proficient in presenting reports and financial information to others
 
Remuneration: R14 000 – R17 000 CTC (neg)
Start: ASAP
