Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Gardens Supervisor to join a prestigious luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will oversee the estate’s gardens, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard and leading a team to deliver outstanding results.

? Responsibilities:
? Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery for safe, optimal performance
? Conduct regular quality checks on team members’ work
? Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts
? Allocate tasks according to individual abilities
? Apply knowledge of gardening, plant care, and flower care techniques
Operate professional mowing, trimming, and pruning equipment
? Monitor and maintain plant health
? Identify and manage pest problems
? Keep gardens and green spaces tidy and free of debris
Requirements:
? 2–3 years’ experience as a Gardens Supervisor
? Valid driver’s licence
? Familiarity with landscaping design and regional plant life
? Knowledge of local pests and elimination methods
? Understanding of fertilisers and landscaping health & safety regulations
? Ability to lift heavy objects and remain standing for long periods
Passion for the outdoors and plant life
Ability to work independently and under pressure
? Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
? Honest, trustworthy, and reliable
? Good interpersonal and communication skills
