Senior Sous Chef

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Sous Chef to join a dynamic catering team in Somerset West. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional to grow, lead, and create exceptional dishes while supporting the Head Chef.

? R25,000 – R28,000 per month (Negotiable DOE)
? R1,500 Cellphone Allowance | ? 5 Days On / 2 Days Off

? Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations ?‍?

Ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes for various events ?

Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff with patience and professionalism ?

Maintain high standards of hygiene and compliance with food safety regulations 

Support menu planning and execution for regular catering and special events ?

Travel regularly to Cape Town venues as required ?

Requirements:

Proven experience in a catering company environment

Valid driver’s licence and own transport ?

Strong leadership skills and ability to train junior staff effectively

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Flexible and adaptable to event schedules and venue requirements
