Avondale Wine Estate, a pioneering organic and biodynamic wine farm in the heart of Paarl, is seeking a passionate and professional Tasting Gallery Ambassador to join our hospitality team.
As the welcoming face of Avondale, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests through wine tastings, cellar tours, and Ochra coffee experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your knowledge of wine, customer service, and sales while working in a dynamic, service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Hosting guests for wine tastings and cellar tours with professionalism and passion.
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences in the Tasting Gallery and Ochra coffee space.
- Driving wine, Ochra, and hospitality sales (wine club, restaurant, picnics, and more).
- Supporting daily operations: set-up, cleaning, stock control, and administration.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, professional, and service-oriented
- Ability to host and engage with local and international clientele
- Well-organised, neat, and presentable
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
