We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Wine Tasting Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the patience, personality, and perseverance to deliver outstanding guest satisfaction while showcasing premium wines.

Set up and maintain the tasting area.
Conduct engaging and informative tutored wine tastings.
Lead cellar tours for guests.
Ensure presentation, quality, and correct temperature of all drinks.
Process wine orders through Capreo, Cape Ardor, and Aspiring Logistics.
Manage stock levels, including collection, re-stocking, and ensuring availability of equipment.
Minimize losses through strict portion control, proper handling, and accurate record-keeping.
Perform daily stock-takes of wine and beverages, completing stock movement sheets.
Promote and process wine sales.
Adhere to the Liquor Act (No. 59 of 2003) and other relevant regulations for the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Grade 12.
Own or reliable transport.
1–2 years’ wine tutoring experience (preferred).
Strong knowledge of wines with the ability to communicate this effectively to guests.
Passion for wine and the hospitality industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Confident in hosting distinguished clientele.
Professional and well-presented.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Enthusiastic personality with the ability to work under pressure.
