We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team in our busy kitchen, delivering high-quality food.

Experience: three years plus working in the same or similar position.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  1. Able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication in English.  
  2. Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  3. Good record of kitchen management at a similar establishment
  4. Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  5. Capable of delegating multiple tasks
  6. Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
  7. Ability to interact positively with supervisor, management, co-workers, members, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach.
  8. Ability to produce a high volume of work promptly, which is accurate, complete, and of high quality.
  9. Ability to come to work regularly and on time, follow directions, take criticism, get along with co-workers and supervisors, treat co-workers, supervisors, and members/guests with respect and courtesy, and refrain from abusive, insubordinate, and/or violent behaviour.
  10. Ability to work long hours, under high pressure, and physically demanding at times.

Please be willing to work a minimum of 2 full trial shifts.
