A well-known wine cellar in the Boland is seeking to employ a suitable National Sales Manager.
Attributes of the successful candidate:
Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record in the wine or FMCG sector with 5 to 10 years of experience.
Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills, and experience managing sales teams to achieve national revenue targets.
Understanding of protocols and requirements to list the correct product ranges in the retail sector.
Exceptional leadership skills ensuring that the sales force are coached, lead and mentored to achieve sales goals.
Strong financial understanding of pricing structures, discounts and the structuring of supply deals to ensure acceptable and agreed profit margins.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Developing national sales strategies, managing key accounts, overseeing budgets and reporting.
Effective and timeous analysing of market trends to drive growth for the wine brand and sales.
Crafting and executing a national sales and distribution strategy in line with current service providers.
Ensuring that service providers relating to sales are managed and supported as required.
Identifying growth opportunities, analysing market trends, and adapting strategies as needed.
Managing sales budgets, tracking performance, and reporting on revenue goals.
Managing key accounts and fostering strong relationships with clients and distributors.
Representing the brand at wine events, trade shows, and promotions.
The successful candidate will be stationed in Paarl but will be travelling nationally and working nationally
