Permanent Wine Advisor

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Wine Advisor to join our team at Remhoogte Wine Estate. This role is central to creating memorable experiences for our guests and driving wine sales, both on the estate and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up the Tasting Room each morning and ensuring it is cleared at the end of the day.
• Presenting professional and informative tastings to all guests, always with a focus on achieving sales in a polished and welcoming manner.
• Consistently working towards and achieving monthly sales targets.
• Managing bookings from tour companies and private guests, ensuring they are accurately captured in the diary and clearly communicated to colleagues.
• Overseeing stock control of wines and other retail items in the tasting room.
• Conducting occasional in-store tastings and promotions in the Stellenbosch region.
• Assisting in the preparation of tasting room offerings, such as flatbreads.
• Providing support at wine shows and other events when required.
• Carrying out other responsibilities that may arise as part of the role of Wine Advisor.
