Our customer is one of the longest-running independent liquor distributors in South Africa. With a curated portfolio of ultra-premium wines and spirits, they specialise in bringing some of the best craft brands around the world to South Africa.
They are ready to take the business to the next level and are looking for the suitable person to help them achieving new goals. This role will mainly support the Sales Team by continually reviewing sales performance and identifying marketing & sales opportunities to ensure maximum turnover growth.
This position requires:
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Excel spread sheets and reporting (Pivot tables, advance filters)
- Experience in sales analysis
- Strong research and data analysis skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Projection and forecasting skills
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams Responsibilities:
- Compiling, analysing, and reporting sales data
- Monitoring and analysing competitive activity, customer, and market trends
- Providing actionable insights to guide the sales teams
- Contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives
- Monitoring and evaluating sales performance
- Determining sales potential and making recommendations
Experience:
- sales or sales analyst experience
- experience in Liquor industry will be advantageous but not compulsory
- SAP experience advantageous
Qualification:
- Lowest qualification required: Matric.
- Financial, sales or marketing Certificate/Diploma advantageous
