We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Wellness Specialist to join a luxury spa environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a caring nature, and a genuine passion for wellness and guest satisfaction. This role requires a professional who can deliver a wide range of treatments while ensuring an exceptional guest experience in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a variety of spa treatments including massages, facials, body treatments, and advanced beauty therapies.
Perform all treatments with a focus on quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
Assess guest needs and customize treatments according to individual preferences and skincare requirements.
Maintain treatment rooms and spa areas to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
Stay informed on industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to provide professional recommendations.
Assist with reception duties when required, including guest check-ins, scheduling, and handling payments.
Manage guest enquiries professionally via calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
Collaborate with the spa team to ensure seamless operations and memorable guest journeys.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations during treatments.
Requirements
A recognized two-year national or international certificate or diploma in beauty therapy.
Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in a professional spa or beauty salon environment.
Aesthetic qualifications are an advantage.
Strong competency in all spa treatments, including advanced skincare, body therapies, and nail treatments.
Experience with reception/front office duties in a hospitality setting is beneficial.
Computer literate with knowledge of spa or booking systems.
Fluent in English (Afrikaans or an additional language is an advantage).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
