Main Responsibilities & Duties
Conduct monthly vulnerability scans on all IT infrastructure equipment and resolve any issues.
Propose necessary upgrades when equipment becomes vulnerable.
Ensure Office 365 Cloud Services are secure with all required security measures in place.
Manage anti-virus and cybersecurity software across servers and individual devices.
Implement penetration tests and decoy systems.
Set up and monitor SIEM systems, managing any potential risks.
Configure and maintain firewalls (Checkpoint) and malware protection software (ESET Remote Administrator).
Set up and maintain servers (VMware), domain controllers (Microsoft Active Directory 2019), point-of-sale systems (EasiPos), accounting servers (Sage Evolution), biometrics access control, internet fiber metro ethernet lines, backup internet Wi-Fi links, and other IT processes.
Assist and support the Senior IT Systems Administrator with all related tasks.
Liaise with third-party cybersecurity service providers.
Secondary Responsibilities
Install, configure, and provide technical support for hardware and software.
Manage configuration and operation of client-based operating systems.
Monitor systems daily and respond to security or usability concerns.
Create and verify server backups (Acronis Cyber Cloud).
Upgrade systems and processes for improved functionality and security.
Set up accounts and workstations for new employees.
Troubleshoot technical issues and outages.
Manage all Wi-Fi connections ensuring 100% uptime (Unifi Controller).
Manage and maintain the cloud-based phone system (3CX).
Administer and maintain Office 365 accounts and email services.
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
7–10 years’ experience in Cyber Threat or IT Risk Management.
Microsoft certifications preferred.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, patch management, and VPNs.
Strong knowledge of Office 365 Cloud Services, Ubiquity APs, HP Aruba Switches, VLAN, Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and fiber network topologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Strong multitasking, organizational, and deadline management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise across all levels
