Muratie Wine Estate, one of South Africa’s oldest and most iconic wine estates, is seeking a passionate Wine Ambassador to share our heritage, wines, and story with visitors from around the world.

Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape
Position: Seasonal

About the Role:
As a Wine Ambassador, you will be the face of Muratie, welcoming guests, guiding tastings, and creating unforgettable wine experiences. You will combine your knowledge of wine with warm hospitality to connect with visitors and convey the rich history of our estate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct wine tastings and cellar tours, sharing the story of Muratie wines and estate heritage.
• Provide exceptional guest service with a personal touch.
• Assist with sales of wine and merchandise, ensuring guests leave with lasting impressions.
• Support estate events and special wine experiences as required.
• Maintain wine tasting areas, ensuring cleanliness and presentation.

Requirements:

• Passion for wine and food culture.
• Previous experience in wine tourism, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of the Stellenbosch wine region is a plus.
