Barton Vineyards in Bot River are excited to offer winemaking internships for the 2026 harvest season, running from January through April 2026 depending on the harvest. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the vineyard and cellar, working closely with our winemaking team during the most dynamic and rewarding time of the year.

As an intern, you will be involved in all aspects of the harvest, including grape intake and processing, fermentation management, cellar operations, and day-to-day winery tasks. You’ll learn practical winemaking skills, deepen your understanding of the harvest process, and be part of creating the 2026 vintage.

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable individuals with a genuine interest in wine. No prior winemaking experience is required, though a willingness to learn, a good work ethic, and the ability to work long hours during peak harvest are essential.
