 Applicants must be in possession of a Code 10 license and “PDP”.

  • Good communication skills in both Afrikaans and English are essential.
  • Knowledge of the wine industry is an advantage.
  • Delivery of products for clients in different parts of the Western Cape and on the Estate.
  • The ability to maintain a professional customer service at all costs.
  • The effective management of time and the understanding of the most efficient delivery routes.
  • The person must be task / goal oriented.
  • Fast with high attention to accuracy.
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure
  • The candidate has good human relations and must also be able as a team person to coordinate his activities with different departments.
  • Good planning ability.
  • The candidate must be an energetic person and is willing to learn.
  • Flexible with regard to working hours
  • Reliable and excellent attendance record
  • Well-groomed appearance.
  • Have sufficient knowledge of traffic laws.
  • Physical strength: The work includes regular loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Thus, a company manager must be strong enough to regularly pick up heavy loads

Job description

  • Transport products, materials, documents and personnel safely to areas where they are needed
  • Make sure that paperwork related to merchandise is correct.
  • Mornings and afternoons the school children ride.
  • Do the daily banking services.
  • Ensure that vehicles are kept perfect and clean at all times by washing both the interior and exterior of the vehicle
  • Perform periodic maintenance on vehicles, such as motor oil and water at appropriate times, as well as top up the car (s).
  • Perform routine checks on vehicles and report any faults and damages
  • Report any case of accident, injury or damage to vehicles.
  • Keep all records, including receipts for vehicle maintenance
  • Renewing vehicle licences
  • Dress professionally and act in accordance with the company's dress code.
