We have an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned HEAD CHEF / SOUS CHEF to lead and manage the culinary team of our client’s unique Microbrewery & Bistro, which has become a firm landmark in Franschhoek, offering a distinctive casual dining experience.
The all-day casual dining menu is simple, fresh & packed with flavour, reflecting the scrumptious street food you would find when travelling the globe.
The ideal candidate exhibits exceptional culinary, organizational, and interpersonal abilities, possesses strong leadership qualities, and excels in high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Menu planning and development • overseeing all kitchen operations and staff • managing inventory and ordering supplies • ensuring high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, and maintaining strict health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the kitchen.
Position Requirements:
Qualification in Professional Cookery • at least 2 year’s Head Chef experience • innovative & creative • strong ability to lead, manage and develop a team • passionate about food and cooking.
