 Job Description:

 In this role, you will oversee the selection, presentation, and service of wines, ensuring an exceptional guest experience through expert recommendations, efficient stock management, and collaboration with the culinary team.

• Welcome guests and provide professional wine service and guidance
• Recommend and serve wines that complement menu dishes and guest preferences
• Maintain and update the wine list in collaboration with management
• Educate guests and team members on wine pairings, regions, and vintages
• Manage stock levels, ensuring correct storage and accurate inventory
• Process sales transactions efficiently using POS systems
• Keep wine areas clean, organized, and presented to high standards
• Stay informed on new wines, trends, and industry developments
• Work closely with chefs to create seasonal wine-pairing menus
• Deliver an exceptional dining experience through attentive, knowledgeable service

Experience Required:  

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum two years’ experience in the same or similar position in a high-volume luxury environment
• Strong knowledge of wine and beverage products with a passion for quality service
• Experience supervising shifts or managing a busy service bar
• Proven ability to achieve sales goals and maintain high guest satisfaction
• Confident in handling point-of-sale systems and basic computer programs such as Word and Excel
• Well-organized and detail-focused with a professional approach
• Strong sense of teamwork and accountability within a service-driven environment
