Role Exposure

The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in:

• Stocking and managing a wine cellar
• Purchasing, negotiations, and allocations with estates, domaines, and châteaux
• Conducting wine and beverage tastings
• Designing food and wine pairings
• Advising guests and clients on wine selections
• Understanding the winemaking process across different wine regions
• Determining wine faults and maintaining proper temperatures to showcase wines at their maximum potential

Candidate Requirements

• Fluent in English and basic French (DELF A1 from Alliance Française or willing to study further)
• WSET Level 2 (preferred) and eager to pursue WSET Diploma or equivalent studies
• Passionate about wine, service, and continuous learning
• Emotionally mature, independent, inquisitive, reliable
• A problem-solver with perseverance and determination
• Someone who embraces life with enjoyment, passion, and innovation

• Motivation letter(s) (highlighting passion for wine, career goals, and reasons for wanting to work in France)
• Valid passport and ability to obtain a work visa this includes an unabridged birth certificate (support will be provided)
