About the role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen brigade. This role is ideal for a skilled and ambitious chef ready to take the next step in their culinary career and contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency and high standards.
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and portion control.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Assist in developing new dishes, specials, and menu concepts.
  • Maintain proper stock rotation and manage kitchen inventory effectively.
  • Uphold quality, timing, and presentation standards in every dish served.
  • Step into the Sous Chef role during absences or busy service periods.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen (fine dining or high-volume preferred).
  • Relevant Culinary Diploma / Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • A passion for food, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
