Franschhoek 
Family size winery in Franschhoek is looking for an intern for the growing season to harvest time.
Due to the size of the farm, you will participate in all aspect of work (include but not limited) :
Vineyard
Participate to shoots selection, trellising, pruning
Could be led to use tractor for basic work as mowing
Disease surveillance (mildew, Esca, ants …)
Cellar
Assisting to prepare wine before bottling (filtration)
Bottling and preparation of orders (labeling, packaging)
Assisting with stock control
All activities related to harvest – berries samples, quality control, pumping over, cleaning…
Ideal application
Ability to work long hours when needed (harvest)
Good skill communication (English & Afrikaans)
Physically strong and healthy
Ability to work under pressure
Willingness to learn and gain experience in a small estate
Good mentality and motivation will make the difference
The intern will be under the supervision of the estate manager.
The internship could lead to a permanent position as assistant of the estate manager
No accommodation on site
