Casual Waiters - Stellenbosch Wine Estate

We are seeking enthusiastic and service-driven Casual Waiters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and seat guests, ensuring they receive menus and wine lists promptly.

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.

• Set tables neatly with linens, silverware, and glassware.

• Take and process accurate food and beverage orders using the Point-of-Sale system.

• Coordinate efficiently with bar and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

• Clear and reset tables promptly after each course or when guests have finished dining.

• Present dessert and coffee options to guests.

• Issue bills accurately and handle transactions professionally.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all service areas.

• Uphold a high standard of personal appearance and uniform presentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate.

• At least 1 year of previous experience as a waiter or waitress, preferably in a high-end or busy restaurant environment.
