Constantia Glen, a renowned wine estate in the heart of Cape Town’s Constantia Valley, is seeking a dynamic Hostess/Host to join our team. If you have a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills, we want to hear from you!
Duties & Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Greets and welcomes arriving guests
- Escorts customers to their tables or the waiting area
- Takes reservations and assigns guests on the waiting list
- Answers phone calls and customer inquiries
- Assists restaurant staff when necessary
- Maintains clean and organized tables, chairs, and dining sets
- Provides menu and server information
Skills and Competencies
- Experience as a Hostess essential
- Experience with Dineplan essential
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Good personal appearance and hygiene
- Punctual and reliable
- Excellent work ethic
- Impeccably groomed & comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
- Good understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Excellent telephone and email etiquette
- Fluent in English
- Experience in managing reservations
