La Motte Wine Estate in the Franschhoek Valley requires a vibrant person, with an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to join the team in the Bakery as Barista/Bartender.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* prepare and serve a variety of beverages including wine, cocktails, coffees and teas in accordance with standard recipes
* maintain accurate inventory levels by performing regular stock counts
* perform regular checks and basic maintenance on operating equipment to ensure it is functioning optimally
* maintain a clean and organised bar area, adhering to strict health and safety standards
* stay up to date on the latest trends in the beverage industry and adapt techniques accordingly
* provide a memorable customer experience, ensuring satisfaction through prompt service and a friendly demeanour
Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following:
* minimum 2 years’ proven experience as a Barista/Bartender
* excellent knowledge of wine, coffee brewing techniques and cocktail preparation
* strong communication and interpersonal skills
* ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* attentive to detail
* ability to multitask and stay organised under pressure
* passionate about customer service
* willingness to work weekends and Public Holidays
* contactable references available
