Our client, a well-established South African wine producer, located between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, is seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to oversee and expand their international wine sales portfolio.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in export management, an existing network within the global wine industry, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): *Managing and maintaining relationships with existing export buyers *Developing new international clients and growing the company’s global footprint *Representing the company at major international wine fairs *Strengthening the company’s brand presence in international markets *Stabilizing and increasing export sales income *Providing sales forecasts, reports, and market insights *Promoting brand value and building long-term business partnerships aligned with company objectives *all other tasks related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or related field;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in international wine sales or export management;
• Excellent understanding of export logistics, compliance, and pricing structures;
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally (up to 4 times per year);
• Valid passport and driver’s license.
