We are a small winery situated in the Helderberg region of Stellenbosch. We are seeking a motivated and hard-working Harvest Intern to join our winemaking team for the 2026 vintage. Responsibilities
Assist with all cellar operations throughout harvest
Fruit intake: receiving, sorting, weighing, recording
Cap management (pump-overs, punch-downs, and related extraction work)
Fermentation monitoring: temperature, density, sensory checks
Cleaning and sanitation of tanks, equipment, and work areas
Barrel work, racking, inoculations, additions, and general cellar tasks
Data recording and support with daily harvest logistics
Work safely and efficiently within a small, focused team
Requirements
A passion for wine, viticulture, or oenology
Prior cellar or harvest experience essential
Ability to work long, physically demanding hours, including weekends and public holidays
Strong teamwork ethic, good communication skills, and a positive attitude
Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Ability to lift 20–25 kg and perform manual labour
