Finance & Logistics Administrator

The Perdeberg Group, situated in the Paarl Wine region and renowned for it’s innovation, dedication to excellence & multi-award winning wine portfolio, has an exciting opportunity available for a Finance and Logistics Administrator to join their team.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Accountant, and be responsible for: *Creditors: Reconcile supplier accounts and statements; Create and capture month-end purchase orders; Perform ad hoc age analysis reconciliations and processing on Palladium. *Payments, Petty Cash & Cash Ups: Load month-end creditor payments for approval and facilitate weekly payments; Update daily bank on accounting system and reconcile the cashflow schedule; Perform daily restaurant cash-ups; Oversee and reconcile petty cash and bank excess. *General Administration: Ordering stationary; Track liquor and vehicle license renewals; Handle general finance and logistics administration. *Inventory & Logistics: Arrange CHEP pallet documentation; Capture and track Shoprite orders; Process sample requests and invoices; Handling stock transfers, supervise onsite reworks, track and arrange Vinoteek orders; Coordinate inventory movements on the accounting system; Arrange stock takes and reconcile variances; Capture and track PODs; Liaise with transporters as needed; Maintain reports for old vintage stock. *All ad hoc and administrative tasks related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Proficiency in MS Office & Pastel/Palladium accounting software;
• Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans & English);
• Own reliable transport.
